«Самые влиятельные люди мира — 2013»

Критерии отбора таковы. Во-первых, кандидат должен оказывать влияние на большие группы людей. Во-вторых, учитывались финансовые ресурсы, которыми он распоряжается. Для глав государств это показатели ВВП их стран, а в некоторых случаях – объем принадлежащих им стратегических ресурсов: нефти, газа и т.п. Оценивая генеральных директоров компаний, в расчет брали их доход и активы фирм. Влиятельных миллиардеров оценивали, исходя из размеров их личных состояний.

Еще один критерий – возможность фигуранта влиять сразу на несколько сфер общественной жизни (например, участник может одновременно возглавлять компанию, заниматься благотворительностью и определять политику страны). Наконец, Forbes оценил, насколько активно тот или иной участник рейтинга пользуется своей властью.
