Between 1994 and 2000, Per Brilioth was head of the Emerging Markets section at Hagströmer & Qviberg and he has worked close to the Russian stock market for a number of years. Per Brilioth is a graduate of Stockholm University and holds a Master of Finance from the London Business School. Other significant board assignments: Chairman of the board of Pomegranate Investment AB, member of the boards of Vostok Emerging Finance Ltd, RusForest AB, Tethys Oil AB and LeoVegas AB.

Vostok holds 7% of Hemnet (and wanted more)
Apart from the crown jewel Avito, Vostok New Ventures also has investments in other classifieds in its portfolio, such as Propertyfinder, Merro, Wallapop, Naseeb Networks (operator of leading job sites, such as Rozee in Pakistan, Mihnati in Saudi Arabia, and leading job vertical Wuzzuf in Egypt).
In Vostok’s Q4 report (published yesterday) CEO Per Brilioth revealed for the first time that the company invested in the leading Swedish real estate site Hemnet in January, and now holds a stake of 7 percent. Per Brilioth said: “We wish we could have bought more!”

Венчурный фонд Vostok New Ventures объявил о заключении договора на приобретение вторичных акций компании Comuto AS (оператора карпулингового сервиса BlaBlaCar) за 40 млн евро. Ранее, в сентябре 2015 года, фонд уже выделял 30 млн евро инвестиций в этот сервис.
Заключительное подписание документов состоится 5 августа 2016 года на общем собрании акционеров. Учитывая предыдущее вложение, доля инвестиционной компании в BlaBlaCar увеличится до 14,4%, сказал управляющий партнёр Vostok New Ventures Пер Брилиот (Per Brilioth).
